Going all Out for Christmas in July!

This picture was taken around midnight on "Christmas in July" eve. Earlier, around 945pm, after preparing the store for the big celebration this weekend, a huge lightning storm arrived in Estes Park, with clear ice 1/2" hail, then several minutes of a softer pea sized hail, followed by torrential rain that washed every piece of hail through downtown to a low spot in the 400 block of East Elkhorn- you probably saw the vehicles shoveling their way out from 16" or more which essentially froze them in place. The Town Street Supervisor arrived to save the day with the loader they use for mid-winter snow fighting and piled it up out of the way so the street could be reopened. In July! Well, seems only appropriate that our Christmas in July sale starts on the 29th and runs this weekend...

...we actually had to shovel to get in the back door in order to cook our "Christmas in July" flavors, Mother Nature greeted us with this little project to set the mood... While supplies last, we'll have 4 specials you can usually only enjoy in December- don't miss: Egg Nog, Colorado Praline (Texas pecan + salted caramel), Candy Cane Mint & Spiced Pumpkin Pie.
