Gina 10mcg tablets available over the counter 

The UK government has decided on the reclassification of Gina 10 microgram vaginal tablets. This change will see the prescription only medication become available to buy over the counter for postmenopausal women. Read more.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council have updated their post registration standards to represent the skills, knowledge and attributes for community nurses with specialist community qualifications and specialist community public health nurses. Read more.

NHS Scotland trialling an AI assisted capsule endoscopy

SCOTCAP is currently trialling the use of a 'smart pill' to diagnose bowel cancer. Having received a £5 million grant, 12 partners across Europe will work to prove the efficiency in using this technology to analyse endoscopy imagery over the next 4 years. Read more.
