Sing Out for Civics

Fundraiser for Civics Curriculum Featuring
Award-Winning Chilean Singer/Songwriter
Paula Herrera

Join us at our summer fundraiser to support our civics classes!

Paula Herrera, a well-known singer-songwriter from Chile, will perform on August 25 at Uncommon Ground, 1401 Devon Ave., in the Edgewater neighborhood. Paula has generously offered to donate all ticket sales to Literacy Chicago, where she is studying English.

Funds will be used to compile and print a collection of 12 civics lessons created by Literacy Chicago for the Adult Literacy class.

Seating is limited to only 48 people, so get your tickets now before they sell out! The event begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $20 each.
