As clear as its title, this compendium of well-researched and simply presented facts, impacts, solutions, and resources is a go-to quick reference for . . . facts, impacts, solutions, and resources related to our carbon footprint!
 
Immediately appealing about the book is the collaborative effort behind it, which is also the key to the success of our community. When resources are limited and we work together, we can do so much more. 
 
Hundreds of writers, editors, volunteers, designers, and researches collaborated to compile this work that allows it to be easily read front-to-back or by topic, or flipped through when time is tight. Tables, graphics, and images provide valuable information at a glance. 
 
The best part? Solutions. 
 
The almanac is edited by Seth Godin, a well-known author, entrepreneur, and speaker who articulates well his experiences into thoughtful and inspirational guidance in his blog—seths.blog—which staff read on a regular basis.
