Hello, and welcome to the July Newsletter. Getting hot out there.

What's New With Us


July started a little on the cool side in Campbell River, but the heat turned up around mid-month. We have had 5 days in a row above 30C (86F). After a cool, cloudy, wet spring, we've enjoyed all the sunshine, even if it's a tad on the warmer side. I'll take it! 
Hopefully, we get some more heat in August as I have a new Furrion Chill air conditioner on the way from Lippert to install and test out. It will replace our 11-year-old Coleman Mach 3 unit. I'll publish a video detailing the replacement, including the conversion kit.
Once again, we are enjoying being so close to the ocean. During the recent ultra-low tides, we made our way out on a local reef to witness the exposed sea life. The assortment of creatures and colors is remarkable.
Anne has continued to capture amazing Bald Eagle action photos as we have been treated to a large number this July. Sometimes in the dozens. They often put on spectacular aerial shows for us! She also got a nice shot of a big black bear that surprised us as he made his way across the river one morning.
When not relaxing and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings, I've been keeping busy with various RV product reviews. Plus the usual maintenance and tinkering with stuff on the old rig. Never bored that's for sure. :)
