Friends, This is Why!

Hilary and Lady’s story is why Dogs Matter keeps fighting the fight to give second chances to deserving people and their dogs. As you read their testimonial, remember Hilary and Lady are only one story of the already 122 clients and their dogs we have provided services for in 2022. It is our goal to always make each client’s experience as stress-free as possible so they can focus on their recovery without the added worry over the care of their dog while away at treatment.

Dogs Matter has already exceeded our 2022 goals for the entire year. What does this mean? More than ever, we need your support as we continue to grow. Eighty percent of our budget comes from individual donors like you! Please consider
donating to Dogs Matter to help us keep another dog and their owner together. Your donation will allow Dogs Matter to continue providing support to our clients for up to 12 months after being reunited with their dog, as well as providing much-needed services that include: Addiction Counseling, Peer Recovery Support, Medical, Food, Training, and even Pet Deposits.

Be a part of the movement to strengthen the human-animal bond that creates a happier, healthier life for pet owners. You may be saving another family just like Hilary and Lady!

Chance is Available for Adoption

"My name is Chance and I'm a 9 year old black lab mix. I'm 54 lbs, spayed, HW negative, and current on all my vaccines. I'm available for adoption!"

Chance is so sweet, loves humans, and is awesome on and off the leash. She does great with kids and has no issues with cats.

Chance would make the perfect family dog or an additional dog to your current family. She loves to play or just lay around and show you how much she loves everyone! She just wants to be a part of a family!

Chance came to Dogs Matter back in February of this year during the winter freeze. Her owner was homeless and living out of his car with Chance and he desperately needed treatment for his addiction. We were able to assist them by allowing the owner to enter treatment and ultimately enter a sober living environment all while we fostered Chance.

Unfortunately, circumstances won’t allow Chance to go back to her owner. Dogs Matter can’t always save the client, but we are committed to finding a deserving and loving forever home for all our dogs and that includes Chance!

Please help us find Chance the perfect forever family! For more info please contact us about Chance and we'll be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your family.
