We want to share some exciting news! The Improved Location Access project, which is part of the UCPath Roadmap, is set to go live on 8/2/2022. The aim for the ongoing project is to improve location productivity, accessibility and ability to answer employee questions. As a part of the initial rollout there will be updates to current security roles in UCPath. The updates include access to additional pages as inquiry view only. The following are the new pages along with the navigation and how they can be useful.

Workforce Admin > Job Info > Job Data

Work Location tab: View employee’s position number, department, and/or location.  

Job Information tab: View employee’s job code, FT/PT, standard hours and FTE. View expected job end date and expected return from leave date.                        

Job Labor tab: View labor information for represented employees.
                    
Payroll tab: View payroll information such as Pay Group data. 

Salary Plan tab: View employee’s salary plan information.    

Compensation tab: View employee’s compensation.  

UC Job Data tab: View employee’s custom UC information such as the probation end date. 

 
Person Profile

Workforce Development > Profile Management > Profiles > Person Profile

View employee’s qualifications, education, oath and patent dates, multi-location appointment, UC Student Status and I9 Tracker information.

Workforce Job Summary

Add Workforce Administration > Job Information > Review Job Information > Workforce Job Summary

View a summary of an employee’s complete job history. Includes the following tabs: General, Job Information, Work Location, Salary Plan, Compensation and UC Job.

Review Absence Balance

UC Customizations > UC Extensions Admin > Review Absence Balance

View an employee’s absence balances.

SS Smart HR Transactions

View the status of a template transaction within the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE). This page is also used to view comments entered by a Location Initiator or Approver.
Shift OnCall Rates Setup HCM > UC Customizations > Shift OnCall Rates View on call shift rates. 
 

The View-Only Payroll job aid is now available as well. It covers what is available on view-only payroll pages, as well as what values are possible in given fields and their descriptions.
