Sunday 7/31 – How to Live a WELL Life through Encouraging One Another

Rockwell Church exists to help people of all ages connect to Christ the ROCK and live WELL Lives through Worshiping, Encouraging, Learning and Loving. This week we are looking at why we need to give and receive encouragement. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “So encourage each other and build each other up…” And 2 Corinthians 13:11 instructs Christ-followers, “…Be Joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Come to Rockwell Church this Sunday to see how God works to provide encouragement in our Christian experience and how He enables us to be encouragers. Join us Sunday at 10:15am at 93 Midway Drive in Virginia, MN. We encourage you to bring a friend.

Getting Ready for Corn Feed

This year’s Corn Feed event (August 21st following the church service) will be giving backpacks to school age children in need. There is a display in the foyer of some suggested items that can be purchased. There is also a box in church for monetary donations.

You can also donate to help cover the cost of the 40 “Hands On” Kids Bibles and the 24 Teen Life Application Bibles we will be offering to kids to put in their backpack.

Please make checks out to Rockwell Church and put “Backpack Donation” in the memo part of the check. Deadline for donations is August 14. Thank you!

YouTube Shorts?

Pastor Chris is trying to reach more people through social networking and YouTube. This week we added a few short video clips from past messages (60 seconds or less) to YouTube. Each week he is trying to find time to make something we are doing at our church better. Let him know your ideas and if you have skills, maybe you can help.
