Two more days of great films ahead of us and a Filmmaker PARTY. Let's do this!

We've all been anxiously awaiting the TCFF premiere of our Founder's Prize film, God's Country. It's today! Director Julian Higgins and writer Shaye Ogbonna will be on hand for a Q&A at both the 3pm and 6pm screenings at The State Theater.

You guys can't seem to get enough of Quicksand. All the screenings have sold out! You can try your luck in the standby line for tonight’s screening at 8:30pm at the AMC, and we’ve also added a screening on Sunday at 6pm. Get those tickets!

Our panel today is Racism in the North Country at 12:30pm in Clinch Park. This year’s program includes a number of films that address racism and make it clear that this issue is not isolated to particular regions of the country. Through a discussion of Bad Axe, God’s Country, Lakota Nation vs. the United States and The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks, we can chart how national movements of white supremacy and xenophobia have fanned the flames of racism in northern communities.

A conversation with Lonnie McCauley (activist and Rosa Parks' great nephew), director Julian Higgins and writer Shaye Ogbonna (God's Country), director David Siev and subject Jaclyn Siev (Bad Axe), director Jesse Shortbull (Lakota Nation vs. the United States), Kathy Grinsteiner (Evergrowth Consulting) and Esther Triggs (Director of DEI, Interlochen).
