ROAD TO NIRVANA (72" x 60")

Some of my favorite colors and materials come from gold leaf powders. With intricate patterns, the eye is drawn into eternity from the road to nirvana.

Acrylic and Fiberglass on Canvas

This piece utilizes one of my favorite materials, fiberglass. When deconstructed, the canvas creates a world of deeply pitted shapes, allowing the use of gold and black together.

CALVIN KLEIN SERIES (60" x 48" / 48" x 60")

Acrylic, India Ink, Green Pearl, Enamel on Canvas. Framed.

Several years ago, I was asked to create a series of paintings for the premiere of Calvin Klein’s new home furnishings collection. The opening was sponsored by Elle Decor magazine in Palm Springs, California.

These 3 paintings (top: CK Series 001, bottom L to R: CK Series 002, CK Series 003) are currently displayed at David Sutherland Showroom Chicago.

India Ink, Acrylic, and Blue Pearl on Canvas

The Hunter Full Moon Series. The imagery resembles the incubation period.

FEATHERS (59" x 68")

Fiberglass, India Ink, Enamel, and Acrylic on Mahogany

Fiberglass is embedded into the painting’s surface and then deconstructed, leaving creative and wonderful patterns in the India ink, acrylic, and enamel- based surface. It seems as if there are feathers hovering.
