This Saturday is our August Retreat!

We hope you have had a restful summer and a chance to disconnect!

It might be hard to face, but the return to school is coming up soon. Our union made a lot of progress last school year, fueled by YOUR collective efforts - we now have two bargaining units recognized (certificated and classified) and certificated staff have almost finished bargaining our first union contract! We need to start strong this school year to get that contract across the finish line, get the classified unit ready to bargain, and to maintain and increase the momentum we have built so far.

This Saturday we will have our August Planning Retreat. Whether you are an elected representative already or just now learning more about our union, we need YOU to contribute your voice! We have seen the progress possible when we show up as a Collective, and that is what is going to carry us into this new school year.
