UNI OPEN DAY 2022 TRAVEL GRANT
Applications Now Open

Do you know a rural high school student interested in studying a health degree at uni?

Small grants to support travel costs are available for rural high school students to attend the University Open Days in Adelaide next week.

Making sure travel costs are no barrier to investigating the career of their dreams, support up to $500 is available to help cover travel costs, depending on how far they have to travel.

AGPT APPLICATIONS
Apply Now For January 2023 Start

Colleges are opening applications for entry into the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) for doctors who want to pursue a career in general practice or as a rural generalist (RG). Apply now to start your Fellowship training in January 2023.

Applications Open Dates:

  • ACRRM - OPEN Monday 1 August. CLOSE Monday 29 August.
  • RACGP - OPEN Monday 8 August. CLOSE Tuesday 30 August.

As the AGPT program is managed by each College, applicants should apply for the AGPT program through their preferred College. Both Colleges have different application processes. Start your AGPT application through your preferred College today.

HEALTH WORKFORCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Dr Chandima Perera     

Dr Chandima Perera is a General Practitioner providing primary health care services in Nuriootpa. She received a grant through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program to support her to complete the FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors.

In completing this certificate, Chandima has increased her skills in sexual and reproductive health.

“Through completing the training I feel more confident in managing my patients with  reproductive and sexual health issues. As the course expenses was covered by the scholarship I didn’t have to worry about it but focus on the training.”
