Hello from the Healthwatch Lancashire team and welcome to our latest e-newsletter.

From building links with communities across Lancashire to reflecting on our work in our annual report, our team have been busy hearing and sharing your health and care experiences.

In this newsletter, you can read a little about our latest work, see an excerpt from our annual report, and find out how you can get involved in our latest project which is all about the Covid-19 vaccination programme.

Take a look.
COVID-19 Vaccine Programme
Healthwatch Together, a collaboration between four local Healthwatch -  Cumbria, Lancashire, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen - want to hear your experiences of the Covid-19 vaccination programme.

We want to understand why some people chose to have the vaccine, and why others decided against having it, whether this was due to personal choice or other factors.

We have created an online survey, open to anyone living or working in Lancashire and South Cumbria, to capture people’s experiences, thoughts and feelings about the Covid-19 vaccinations.

Completing this survey will be an opportunity for you to have your say and shape developments locally.
Have your say, take the survey

A year of Healthwatch Lancashire
In another busy year of engaging with the communities of Lancashire, the Healthwatch Lancashire team have worked together to amplify the voice, and shine a light on the health and care experiences of Lancashire’s residents.

As our eyes and ears, the people of Lancashire have worked with us, sharing their views to help us hear and focus on issues that matter most to them and their families.

This month we published our latest annual report which shines a light on the impact that the local people of Lancashire have helped us to achieve.

Rimpy -  Strategic Lead for Healthwatch Together

'Hi, I’m Rimpy and I started in May as the Strategic Lead for Healthwatch Together. Currently, I'm exploring people's experiences of the COVID-19 vaccination programme.

This project, as well as future ones, will ensure local people have a say on what works for them. Working closely with the Integrated Care System, I am excited to help ensure that the voice of local people is at the centre of service design and delivery.'
