I am pleased to announce that after almost two years of planning  and developing, Lutherie Academy has launched. The goal for this online portal to all things lutherie related is to provide the most comprehensive source for learning in the way of online courses, class opportunities - both in-house and virtual, live streams, lutherie related events, suppliers, etc.
Over the last 15 years, myself and other top luthiers from around the world, have been creating a lutherie library in the way of online video courses that allows the viewer to be right there with us at the bench as we exercise our craft. This content was and still is available, for the time being, on the O'Brien Guitars website. All of the great content there is now also available on the Lutherie Academy site. You can even use your same log in as before to access the content. Slowly, all of the content will be migrated to the new site. We are also launching new exclusive courses on the Lutherie Academy website. 
Course offerings are constantly being updated with new exclusive course titles. A teaching schedule for both in house and virtual classes is also available. 
The Lutherie Academy Advisory Committee has some of the best and most well known professionals in the industry providing input. I am sure you will recognize some or even all of the names of those on the committee.
