Update: Crates for Ukraine

On August 21, please pray for Phil Rohrer, Eric Wallace, and Evan Earley as they depart Richmond to travel to Krakow, Poland, where they will be met by a team that will transport a total of 19 crates (17 crates packed by Sycamore plus 2 packed by a sister church in Lexington) into Ukraine. Our total weight was over 700 pounds in  supplies collected!

We have currently raised just under $6,000 to help with travel expenses.  Please consider donating to the Crates for Ukraine fund so we can reach our goal of $7,000.  Donations can be made online (choose the Crates for Ukraine option on the giving page) or by check with "Ukraine Crates" in the memo.

Announcing Sycamore MOPS Ministry

What is MOPS?  MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, but it's actually for moms of all ages and stages of life!  It's a community of women who come together to support each other through the most challenging, exciting, exhausting, amazing, and important job: mothering.

We're excited to have this new ministry starting at Sycamore with Shannon Earley leading.  If you're interested in learning more or getting involved (including volunteer opportunities!), come to the kick off event on Thursday, August 18th, from 6:30-8:30 PM.  Regular meetings will be held from 10 AM-Noon on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month starting in September.  Childcare is available.
