Luke 10:25-37

In our worship on August 7 Pastor Liz will host her daughter Kara Bidgood Enders as she shares the message she gave at National Youth Conference, based on the parable of The Good Samaritan.  In addition, she will share highlights from the Conference, and together we will share in opportunities to explore foundational stories in our lives of faith.  We hope you can join us then.

Kara Bidgood Enders from Harrisburg, PA, and a regular participant in Living Stream Church of the Brethren, was the first of three youth speakers for worship at National Youth Conference on Monday morning.  Kara will share her message with us on August, 7, in our worship as well as reflect on her experiences at National Youth Conference.

Immediately after worship on Sunday August 7 join us as we express gratitude to Pastor Liz on her last Sunday in pastoral leadership with Living Stream during our monthly fellowship gathering  The Fellowship Hall Zoom link will be displayed on the Living Stream website, www.LivingStreamCoB.org.
Remembering Martie Greenhoe Kaufman
     The Living Stream community is saddened by the death of Martie on July 25. You may find a wonderful photo of  Martie and read her obituary at https://www.familiesfirstcare.com/?s=kaufman&cat=21 We continue to hold Bob in our prayers. 
Pacific Northwest District continues online times for sharing prayers
   The next district-wide prayer gathering will be today, August 4th, at 7pm Pacific time⁠; 8pm Mountain time; 9 pm Central time; 10 pm Eastern time.
    These Zoom gatherings, organized by our new District Envisioning Team, are a time for us to share joys and concerns, pray together, and talk about the life of our shared ministry and district. The gatherings usually run about 30-45 minutes.
    Given the positive response to these prayer gatherings, we'll be continuing them every first and third Thursday of each month, at 7pm Pacific time.

Join us each Wednesday in the Zoom Prayer Room as we share from our different locations and then hear a brief word of encouragement and pray together. To join us in the Prayer Room, please go to the Living Stream Church of the Brethren website at www.LivingStreamCoB.org. Then simply click on the link to the Living Stream Prayer Room.  (If requested, grant permissions for camera and mic, and choose to connect with computer audio and video to join the Zoom meeting.)
