Bevan will be preaching at both services on 14 August 2022.      We are looking forward to hear what God has laid on his heart for us.
Come and join us for a congregational bring and share after the morning services at 11:45 in the hall. Tea and coffee will be provided. If possible, please bring a plate of eats to share.
Looking forward to seeing you all there, and enjoying a time of fellowship and sharing with one other.

- Dr. Dave Walker (240 WAL)
 
Dr. Dave Walker was a practising anaesthetist with a special interest in Intensive Care, where he encountered all manner of patients and he became desperate when modern medical intervention was failing his patients.
 
He himself, had suffered tragedies in his life and had lost faith in God, but he found himself praying desperately for healing for his patients.
 
God did intervene and Dr. Walker’s faith was
restored as patients were healed. He started praying with parents and relatives as well and there were miracles of healing happening in his practice and in his personal journey to faith.
 
A remarkable book and a quick and easy read.

NIGHT SHELTER VOUCHERS

Night Shelter vouchers are available from the Church Office and can be bought  @ R20 per voucher.  It can then be given to a  NEEDY person, who can have a meal, a warm shower and a bed for a night.

The Connector – Naomi

Scripture: Ruth 2-3, Ruth and Boaz.

When Ruth lost her husband, she took on the heroic role of caring for her mother-in-law. But it was Naomi who helped Ruth to see and make a love connection with Boaz, one that would help the two of them and put Ruth in the lineage of Jesus. God can use us and our friends to help us see things we might miss that God wants us to see. 
 
Objective: Children will learn, “Friends can help each other to see God’s plan.”
