Meet the Innovation Powerhouses Joining NAI's Global Network

Lieber Institute for Brain Development is razor-focused on translating the understanding of genetic and molecular mechanisms of schizophrenia and related developmental brain disorders into clinical advances to change the lives of affected individuals. They have joined the Academy to "promote innovation amongst faculty and staff and create a culture of entrepreneurship."

Clarkson University joined NAI's global network in support of the Academy's mission and the importance of inventions. "We share the belief that humane and environmentally sound economic and social development derive from the expansion, diffusion and application of knowledge."

"Our researchers have a growing interest in taking their innovations into the world, whether through traditional patenting and licensing, founding startups, or partnerships with industry. NAI would provide access for our inventors to do more and a platform for us to celebrate our Innovators that are making an impact with their ideas," says Portland State University. We agree!
