From the Call Committee:
We would like to thank those who came to our Listening Session on June 26. We very much appreciated your input! We will have another Listening Session on July 24 during the Sunday School hour. We will be asking the same questions as on June 26.
The next step in the call process is to survey the congregation. Please complete and submit the Call Committee Survey. You can also find the link on our church website. If you need a paper copy, please pick one up in the church office. The survey is guided, yet open ended. We would appreciate your response by Monday, August 8.
Thank you for helping us understand what we together hear God calling us to do and be as a congregation, what our community context is and the type of person our Church needs as an Associate Pastor.
Sincerely, your Call Committee,
Lucinda Bringman, Amy Crist, Jim Flanagan, Ernie Kranias, Glenn Munsee, Kasey Smith, Anne Lane, committee alternate and Shirley Sanders, Congregation Council Liaison
Contact information available from the office.

St. James Tree Planting Challenge
As a part of our Fall Stewardship Focus, our Creation Care Taskforce is inviting us to participate the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership, adding to the goal of planting 10 million native trees and shrubs in Pennsylvania by 2025.
This is an effort of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), supported by the Adams County Conservation District (ACCD) and the Watershed Alliance of Adams County (WAAC).
Each tree and shrub will come with a shelter, stake, zip-ties and bird-netting. Trees, shrubs, and supplies will be distributed at the Ag Center on September 8, 9, & 10. Please plan to bring enough helpers to load your own trees and supplies. Plantings should be completed by November 1, 2022.
Our mission? To plant 250 trees as a congregation.
Should you choose to accept our challenge, click the button below to complete the Planting Partner Registration Form. Make sure to check off the “yes” box, indicating that you are participating in the St. James Tree Planting Challenge. Once you complete this form, you will be given access to the Fall 2022 Free Native Tree & Shrub Request Form, where you will select your trees & shrubs.
If you have any questions about the Keystone 10 Million Trees Partnership, please see a member of the St. James Creation Care Taskforce.
We are excited about this opportunity to engage with God’s good creation. Help us reach our goal. And happy planting!
