HEALTH WORKFORCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Maddison McKelliff

As a Registered Nurse providing services in Mount Pleasant, Maddie received a Health Workforce Scholarship Program grant to support her to complete the Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care through Flinders University. The grant provided financial support for the costs of the course fees.

Completing this course has increased her skills and scope of practice in palliative nursing care.

“The scholarship has been able to assist in furthering my education and understanding in Palliative care, this has allowed me to use my extended learning to assist patients and their families while going through their end of life journey. This course has helped to extend my knowledge which helps me to provide a deeper connection with my patients and their journey that they are going through.”
