    We Praise the Lord for another great month back in Nepal. It is wonderful to be back and serving the Lord here again. We are very excited for some of the plans we are making for outreach and evangelism at Beginnings Baptist Church. Pray with us that God would open doors for us as we make connections and tell people the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It can be overwhelming being surrounded by so much idolatry. It seems everywhere you look in Kathmandu, there is another idol. However, we know that the gospel is able to save any and all that come to Him by the grace of Christ through faith!

    We are also making plans for getting the gospel to villages of Nepal. Kathmandu is the only major city in the country of Nepal, but hundreds of thousands of people live in villages spread throughout the country. Nepal has three regions; the Himal, Pahad and Tarai regions. Many people think of the Himal and Pahad region when they think of Nepal because these make up the mountains and the foothills where Nepali speaking people reside. God has burdened us to reach into the Tarai region where the Maithili people live along the India border. There is much work to be done in this region of Nepal. 

    This month, I took a trip with Justus Mize to visit Bardibas. This village of about 50,000 people is the entrance into the Tarai region. It is a 5 hour drive through the mountains to arrive there from Kathmandu. Our prayer is that Bardibas will be a starting point to reaching many villages east and west of this main village. We especially are praying that God allows us to see a church started in Godaita, another 2 hours from Bardibas. Please pray that God gives us wisdom as we begin work in these places.
