AUSAGRITECH MEMBER FEATURED NEWS:
ANNOUNCING SPADES REBRAND

In February this year Grower Support was a grant recipient of the Ignite Ideas Fund - Round 8 for the commercialisation of their agricultural compliance management software.

In addition to employing staff and exhibiting at tradeshows and field days, the project funds have been used to engage a brand identity and strategy consultant.

Founder Jennifer McKee said, "As a start-up, I built my MVP, website, logo, and name with no knowledge about branding. But I knew the value and importance of storytelling and connecting with growers and producers. I also wanted to ensure the vision I had for my business was built into a brand that would last for the next 10-20 years. It's been a strange process to leave my start-up name behind, but what we've got now is a brand that is built to last and evolves. I would encourage every agritech start-up to consider their brand, after all, it’s more than just a name.”

The new brand, Spades, is a play on words, being an agricultural implement but also meaning "to a high degree".

Spades was created to support the agricultural industry's advancement in the digital era; with essential resources to eliminate the burden and time-consuming nature of policy and regulatory compliance, record-keeping, and farm management.

Find out more about Spades via their brand new website

Animal Health, Nutrition, and Technology Innovation Asia 2022 returns on 18-19 October in Bangkok.

Our mission is to engage all key participants in the value chain so we can address the full scope of how animal health impacts pet owners, veterinarians, and farmers today.

Across regions of Asia, prediction, prevention, and treatment of disease in animals are becoming increasingly important, with Japan and China continuing to lead the charge, but we are seeing new markets emerging including Thailand, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia. One of the biggest challenges in this region for large animal health companies is sourcing innovation, and for start-ups, it is entering new markets.

Animal Health, Nutrition, and Technology Innovation provide a critical opportunity for face-to-face meetings to facilitate partnership and expedite progress in the industry.

Save up to $600 when you book before 5 August. Register here.

Applications close on 15 August 2022 for the global pitch event Entrepreneurship World Cup.

The opportunity includes a share in US$1 million in prizes, US$10 million in in-kind support, and access to global networks
