this superb late 1937-8 deco Mazer dress clip, ID'd by its characteristic clip design, confirms the existence of two distinct costume versions of the contemporary Van Cleef bracelet (since this clip uses the central design element as its motif): one version made by Mazer, with 3 rows of 8 stones in the middle (as in this clip) - one by Trifari, with a 3 x 7 centre... evidence on the item's page... Spectacular Dujay Sterling 1942 Fruit and Berry pin, matching earrings on site - aside from the unmistakeable mottled enamel, the ID clinched by the rare black opal cabochon - which we now know was an option Dujay advertised in 1943... MB Boucher gold pave and invisibly set bowknot pin, spectacular quality, from an advertised 1941 series, marked with a serifed letter A, again the evidence in the reference links... new 1948 patent, never here before, Coro Royal Sceptre (and Orb) Pin, production driven by North American buzz about then Princess Elizabeth, her Nov 1947 marriage to Prince Philip, and Nov 1948 birth of the present Charles Prince of Wales...

more stunning rarities... spectacular Dujay early 40s fruit salad oval bar pin - amazing workmanship, the scroll shapes on the front hand cut, through the pin anchors on the back... rarest Corocraft Sterling Elephant, gamely carrying a table cut amethyst, similar design to the patented Gazelle (or Antelope), from the 1943 fall collection noticed in WWD... MB Boucher Sterling 3 Heart Shaped 'Triffid'  flowers (as we've always called them), advertised for sale at $29.50, Hollywood California, Sept 1942... Pennino Sterling big Glass Petals Floral Spray, also from 1942, only here once before in almost a quarter century...

more to fascinate - charming MB Boucher Opal and Ruby Flower Basket Pin and Earrings, from 1948 (also available separately)... Trifari Philippe 1949 'Fleur de Paris' emerald fruit salad choker necklace, back to France again for inspiration, with patent, and a stunning advert which only recently revealed the series name... spectacular late 1930s KTF pendant screwback earrings, teardrop emeralds with characteristic Trifari screws and stone setter numbers... also spectacular, giant, 50s or 60s Haskell Waterfall earrings, in green glass...
