From 7:30 a.m.–noon, Saturday, Aug. 13, shop local farm goods, artisanal foodstuffs and handmade crafts. Turnip the beet with folksy Mark "Buddy Ro" Harrison while relishing in hand-dipped ice cream and fresh coffee. Scoop up the season's bounty, taste samples and enter giveaways. You can fly away with Activate Entertainment Project Friday night at 5 p.m. when they'll be levitating higher than Dua Lipa with circus tricks and dance moves, plus theatrical and musical performances, at LeBauer Park.
At 6:30 p.m., Downtown Greensboro Parks invites you to take a beat and circle back with its drum circle, get your creative juices flowin' with Art in the Park, and spice up your life — people of the world — by groovin' with Noche Latina at the Park.
GreenHill Center for N.C. Art makes its PRESENCE known on First Friday with an opening reception of its latest exhibit, plus a dance performance by Tristan Walsch, inspired by PRESENCE, from 6–8 p.m.
From 6–10 p.m, SouthEnd Brewing fizzes with the sounds of freshly poured beers and WristBand. Support local vendors as you shop its pop-up market until 9 p.m. It's a parking lot party, y'all.

Lookin' to get folk-ed up? At 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, Greensboro native Libby Rodenbough and Blue Cactus take the stage in the Crown at the Carolina Theatre.
Grape balls of fire! Southern country duo Muscadine Bloodline brings its mix of guitar, unfiltered authenticity and harmony to Ziggys.Space at 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4.
You won't break our soul, but these guys might make it combust. The Southern Soul Summer Explosion — featuring Lebrado, Nellie “Tiger” Travis, Pokey Bear, Tucka, Lenny Williams and Sir Charles Jones — erupts onto the stage at Tanger Center, 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5.
Graymatter — a little folk-rock meets The Brady Bunch — has been playing music inspired by the '50s, '60s and '70s since before you were born. Check them out at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 5, at the Carolina Theatre. Can we put in a request for "Sunshine Day?"

Doobie or not Doobie? That is the question. Doobie Brothers' John Cowan teams up with national fiddle champion Andra Zonn to form The HercuLeons. Join this duo at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Carolina Theatre to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Fellowship Hall, Inc., a local alcohol and drug treatment center.
You'll be in "Good Hands" at Steel Hands Brewing when Johnny & Heidi take on Nashville Nights at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6. Look out, Johnny & June. The next country power couple is on the rise.
At 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, host Demeanor welcomes Maia Kamil and Apollo Knight to the Carolina Theatre for Studio 176, a unique music collective that allows artists to unabashedly be themselves. Not to be confused with Studio 54 — go-go boots optional.
