Get ready for commencement!
If you are graduating this semester, congratulations! We hope you enjoy your well-deserved day of celebration. In-person commencement ceremonies for summer 2022 candidates will be held on Saturday, August 6 at the Strahan Arena at the University Events Center. For more information, visit the commencement website.
Summer 2022 diplomas will be mailed out during the first week of September. Please allow two weeks for delivery. Diplomas will not be issued to students with financial holds.

Comprehensive Exam Paperwork
The deadline to submit Comprehensive Exam Paperwork for graduating master's students is today (Friday, July 29) at 5 p.m. Forms must be filled out and signed electronically and sent via email to The Graduate College at gcdegspcl@txstate.edu.

Fall Registration
Have you registered? Please review your degree audit and communicate with your advisor to ensure that you are registering for courses that count towards your degree. To register for classes, go to CatsWeb. The last day to register for fall without a fee is July 31.

New Graduate Student Orientation (NGSO): Canvas is an online experience with virtual resources and videos to help new graduate students succeed. This self-paced Canvas site provides you with helpful information and resources to enhance your academic experience at Texas State! Enroll today!

Program Overview: scientific research honor society that awards research grants to students in the sciences, social sciences, and engineering to fund the following: research-related travel expenses; the purchase of necessary non-standard research laboratory equipment; or reimbursement for human subject participants (psychology studies)
Eligibility: enrollment in a degree seeking program
Citizenship: U.S. citizens, permanent residents, international students
Benefits: $1,000, $2,500 (vision-related research), $5,000 (astronomy research)
Deadline: October 1, 2022
