Momentum Matters
AUGUST 2022
New Building Grand Opening!
One of our accidentally best kept secrets is that we moved to a new building in 2020! Due to the pandemic, we haven't had the chance to celebrate and share our wonderful new space with our community. We're finally able to celebrate, and you're invited!

Join us anytime between 3:00pm – 6:00pm on Thursday, September 15th for Momentum’s Grand Opening. This is a free, all-ages event with activities, music, and a Momentum Participant Marketplace. The whole community is invited, and we hope you’ll join us!

Stay tuned for more details, but for now, mark your calendar for this afternoon party!

Big Thanks from Momentum to our Donors!

A message from our Executive Director, Jeff Loomis:

We are thrilled to announce the record breaking results of our Business Breakfast in June. With your support we raised an event record $503,551 at Momentum’s 19th Annual Breakfast! We are so grateful for your support to achieve this result – Thank YOU!

Above you'll see our one-page summary of the impact donors made, along with a few highlights from the event. The funds raised at Breakfast puts us in a position to support the highest demand needs across Momentum. We are excitedly stepping forward knowing that over 2,000 people will receive top-notch training in tech & trades career skills, entrepreneurship, and financial education this year, thanks in no small part to this event.

Thank you from all the program participants and all of us.

All the best,

Jeff

The Impact of Financial Literacy
By the time Raegan turned 18, she was solely responsible for her own housing and income. Growing up, her family faced difficult financial barriers, and she didn’t have access to the resources and opportunities many young people do.

Visit the blog to read how Momentum's Youth Fair Gains program supported her in her financial literacy journey.
