Club Championship 2022

The Leitrim Club championship draw for Junior A, B and C was made and the groupings are as follows:

The Senior & Intermediate Club Championship draws will be made on 6th Aug and this year a new format will include an open draw.

The Senior & Intermediate Football Championship will consist of 10 teams with rounds 1 to 4 to be an open draw. The draw, if possible, and at the discretion of CCC Liatroma, to take place on the weekend prior to the following weekend’s set of games. The draw to factor in that each club to have two home and two away games at the round-robin stages. Teams can only play a team once in the group stages.

NOTE: Draws for the Senior and Intermediate Football championship shall be conducted as follows:

Round 1: All 10 teams shall be placed into a pot The first 5 teams drawn shall have home advantage.

Round 2: The 5 away teams from Round 1 shall be placed in Pot A as the designated home teams in Round 2 and the 5 home teams from Round 1 shall be placed in Pot B as the designated away teams in Round 2. The 5 teams from Pot A shall be drawn first into Round 2 game order in accordance with how they are drawn out. In other words, first team out shall be home game number 1 etc. The 5 teams in Pot B shall be then be drawn to complete games 1 to 5, while avoiding repeat pairings from Round 1. If the first away team drawn cannot play home team number 1 then it shall move down to complete the next available pairing etc.

Round 3: All 10 teams shall be placed into a pot. The first 5 teams drawn shall have home advantage. The next 5 teams drawn shall be away in this round while avoiding repeat pairings from Rounds 1 and 2. If a team drawn to play away has already played this team in earlier rounds, it shall move down into the next available pairing etc.

Round 4: The 5 away teams from Round 3 shall be placed in Pot A as the designated home teams in Round 4 and the 5 home teams from Round 3 shall be placed in Pot B as the designated away teams in Round 4. The 5 teams from Pot A shall be drawn first into Round 4 game order in accordance with how they are drawn out. In other words, first team out shall be home game number 1 etc. Then the 5 teams in Pot B shall be then be drawn to complete games 1 to 5, while avoiding repeat pairings from Rounds 1, 2 and 3. If the first away team drawn cannot play home team number 1 then it shall move down to complete the next available pairing etc. The Round 4 draw shall take into account that many parings may not be readily available.

Free hot-desk spaces available at remote-working hubs in Leitrim

Leitrim GAA are happy to promote the following Voucher scheme as part of our 50 mile sponsorship agreement with Leitrim County Council. This scheme may be of benefit to you or someone you know.

The new voucher scheme for remote working hubs gives workers the opportunity to access remote hubs for free at a variety of locations across the county and country.

Three vouchers have been credited to the accounts of all registered ConnectedHubs.ie users, with each voucher redeemable for a day’s hot-desk working in participating hubs.

They can be redeemed at any of the 7 remote working hubs in Ballinaglera, Carrick-on-Shannon, Kinlough, Manorhamilton or Mohill.

The scheme will run over two phases with phase one running from now until August 31st and the second phase starting in September and expected to run into early 2023.
