Hail Squaddies!

Talk about HOT... back in 2007 we toured the US West Coast to support our album ‘Defiant’ on US label SOS.

The tour culminated with a packed out (HOT and very sweaty) show at Safari Sam’s in Hollywood and a visit backstage from Motorhead drummer Philthy Phil Taylor who was working in the states at the time.

Prior to the gig we did a signing at a record store where we expected a Spinal Tap moment in as much as we thought that nobody would be there but we got a call from the shop owner to say that kids were queuing all the way round the block.

We spent several hours signing CDs and posters for fans and one Punk couple even brought their young baby in to meet us.

The photo shows Beki after the gig in the car park outside Safari Sam’s with members of the audience and biker Laura (sadly deceased) about to get on the bike and ride out into the Hollywood traffic. The ‘Defiant’ poster in the photo is from the signing session.

HIDDEN VICES EP

NEW EP DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE ON BANDCAMP

‘Hidden Vices’ volume 1 is a collection of 3 demo songs and a remix from the Vice Squad archives.
‘Soho Saturday’ was written circa 2001 and is about the characters that haunted the clubs of London’s Soho at the time.

We were regulars at the Marquee, the Astoria and the Wag and a few dodgy illegal drinking clubs too.
This is the second song we wrote with this title but neither was released.

The original demo version of ‘Spitfire’ was written and recorded around 2004 but not released though a later version was included on the ‘Unreleased’ album.

This version of ’You Can’t Do That’ is the original demo and has also never been been released before. The song was re-recorded for the ’Defiant’ album.
‘The Story Of My Life’ Remix is one of 4 strange remixes we discovered on an old tape.
