Enhancing Data Literacy in Advanced Biology Using BioInteractive Resources

A Free Workshop Series for Biology Educators

This two-part workshop will be hosted on Zoom.

Part 1: Wednesday, August 3, 9:30AM-12:00PM CT
Part 2: Friday, August 5, 9:30AM-12:00PM CT

The goal of science is to gather data to construct explanations for the causes of phenomena. BioInteractive resources provide students with authentic opportunities to strengthen their data analysis and communication skills while developing an understanding of core ideas in biology through the practices of science. This workshop will focus on how to guide students in developing an understanding of the statistical analysis skills required in advanced high school biology courses (AP/IB/Dual Credit)

We encourage educators to attend both sessions for a complete workshop experience. There will be 30-45 minutes of asynchronous learning between the two sessions. The workshop will be hosted on Zoom.
