My first traffic painting was incredibly large, 8ft x 8ft. It was mostly carbon black, with a faint red line, symbolizing taillights in the rain. It originally hung in Holly Hunt’s office in Chicago.

Several years ago, I was asked to create a series of paintings for the premiere of Calvin Klein’s new home furnishings collection. The opening was sponsored by Elle Decor magazine in Palm Springs, California.

Saturn is a representation of the intense color combinations, explosive weather and atmospheric changes, on top of an earth-like crust surface with bodies of water.

NIGHT IN TUNISIA (48" x 72")

This painting came out of the Calvin Klein series. It pushes the envelope of using geometric lines, organic materials, and an obvious moon-like planet creeping in.

This landscape hopes to capture the dramatic colors and contrast of the scorching sun in the deserts and the luscious green in the valleys of the earth.

MOJAVE CLOUDBURST (60" x 72")

Acrylic and Indian Ink on Canvas

The desert terrains make for amazing landscapes, and on the occasion that dark clouds fill the sky, the desert seems to merge into the clouds. Any clear delineation of the horizon is obscured.

First installed at the Ritz-Carlton, Chicago penthouse suite’s front door, the POPPY FIELDS series has become iconic, used extensively for marketing, and a favorite amongst my own clientele.

The Poppy Fields motif has become the most popular series of my career. A throwback to the pop art period, it’s limitless in combinations of color, positive and negative spaces.
