Our Program members spend a good chunk of their time at the One Step Beyond Employment Development Program talking about where they would want to work. For 8 individuals, those causal conversations became a reality as they all recently secured paid employment positions at Great America Theme Park in Santa Clara. They will all work in the food services department putting together the pre-packaged treats and meals supplied throughout the park. Not only are they all proud of their accomplishments, but they are also excited to take advantage of free entry into the park on their days off as an employee perk.

Let's Get Movin is a fitness challenge that brings together supporters of inclusion to raise funds for the programs and program members at One Step Beyond, Inc. Throughout the month of September, we will gather as a community to participate in fitness and physical movement events and challenges to promote and bring awareness to inclusion and equal access to health and wellness opportunities for all. Participants will collect pledges and have chances to win prizes when meeting fundraising and fitness milestones. If you are interested in the movement (pun intended;) click the Register Today. Our California-hosted Friendraiser and Cocktail Hour is right around the corner and it's filling up fast! There are a few more spots, so RSVP today and let's toast to the incredible participants and programs that OSBI supports and provides in response to our Inclusion Revolution!

We have a date! Last year, OSBI accomplished a long-awaited milestone of hosting the first-ever gala, and many people's efforts, engagement, and generosity helped to create a huge impact on the lives of the program members at OSBI! Last year's gala was hosted as a hybrid event. This year we are excited to bring the community together (safely), at an in-person gala to remember! Save the date of November 12th, 2022. The Arizona gala will take place at Creighton University in central Phoenix, and the California gala will be held at The Farallon Room at Skyline College in San Bruno, California. More information will be along soon, don't forget to stay in step with us at OSBI.org/Events.
