Known by many for its kvevri wines, which are fermented and sometimes aged in traditional clay vessels, often buried underground, its wines show a different flavour profile and interesting texture. With the intense desire to resurrect the country’s diverse natural heritage, Georgia is leading producers to plant more traditional varieties, many that had almost been forgotten.

Low viscosity, absent minerality, zero bullshit - Milan Nestarec’s wines are coming back!

Milan Nestarec has quickly become the star winemaker of the Czech Republic and an inspiration for a whole new generation. The sheer diversity and dynamism of Nestarec cuvées reflect his energy. Operated as a family operation, with Milan’s parents and sister Lenka all working in the business, Milan took over the winemaking in 2008, but it was not until 2015 that Milan’s style was to become noticed and the business could grow. Since the beginning, Milan has been farming organically with the lowest intervention in winemaking. The wines now show the complete evolution of Milan’s original vision: a full range of wines, from accessible, yet energetic one, to the more serious single-vineyards. We are so stoked to be receiving a new batch from Nestarec.

Moje 2016 - Maybe it's the non-vintage 100% Riesling, maybe the secondary bottle fermentation, maybe the unique loess terroir of Velke Bílovice: whatever it is, it makes this wine really enticing. NASA vintage pictures on the label, to bring you on a cosmic trip, one sip at a time.
Bum Bum Cha 2020 - This juicy pink fizz is a magical blend of white and red grapes: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, fermented together and finished as sparkling pet-nat.
Senza 2020 - Red sparkling blend, carb-macerated Cabernet Sauvignon & Franc grapes, plus a bit of Moravian Muscat and Pálava must, to get the extra aromatics and local touch.
Nach 2021/ Ruz 2021/ Okr 2021 - Vibrant and fresh plumpy 1 L bottle, with those extra 250ml for extra enjoyment.Just shorter ageing times and usually in stainless steel. Usually a blend of various grapes and vineyards, mostly younger ones.
