Some lovely shows coming up to tempt you into our cosy air-conditioned spaces in the next few weeks. Radio 4 Benefit Scum Tom Mayhew is here with his new Edinburgh show as are multi award-winning Luca Cupani and Sasha Ellen. TV regular Andy Parsons has tickets on sale for his WIP shows later in the year and the Camden Fringe makes a welcome return with all kinds of shows in the offing.
Meanwhile down at Leicester Square Theatre Fin Taylor is back with his new show.
LUCA CUPANI & SASHA ELLEN EDINBURGH PREVIEWS 28 July
Luca Cupani: Happy Orphan
What if your mum's death turns out to be one of the best things that happened to you?
Sasha Ellen: Creeps and Geeks Why can’t we all be on the same team?
Is it because of men with vans called Barry?
Is because of killer sex robots, or is it because
of sambuca?
Fresh from Radio 4 (Tom Mayhew is Benefit Scum), critically acclaimed Tom was planning to write a show that was less frustrated, less political…the cost-of-living crisis screwed that.
‘It is genuine, powerful, political stuff. These are four stars for a voice that should be heard more. Four stars for comedy shining a light on some grim, unjust places.’

FIN TAYLOR DADDY SELF-CARE 10 February
Fin Taylor is back on the road with a brand new trunk of painfully funny stand-up for 2023. Sure he’s married with a kid, but that hasn’t made him any less naughty. If anything, it’s only made him even hungrier for that juicy sacred cow meat- and this tour, he’s going after our cultural obsession with mental health. So plenty to work with.
