CAT Survey
The Ad Council is moving forward with the Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT).

ALL members of the congregation are invited to participate. This assessment will provide a clear picture of who we are as a church and what directions are most important for our future. It will help us to collect and understand the range of views that exist at FUMC and the possibilities, willingness, capacity and energy for moving our ministry into the future.

ALL survey responses are anonymous and are collected by HolyCow! Consulting. We have no way of matching any assessment to a particular person, so please feel free to candidly share your perceptions, opinions and experiences.
The assessment is 100 questions long and may be submitted electronically or on paper. We would also appreciate each adult member and young adult living in a household filling out an assessment.

If the church has your current email address, you will receive a unique web link to complete the assessment online. Please remember when submitting the assessment online, it will need to be done in one sitting, you are not able to save your information and come back to it at a later time, so please plan accordingly.
If you would prefer to take the assessment using a paper copy, copies will be available Sunday mornings or by stopping in at the office. Completed paper surveys may also be returned to the church office.

The assessment will open on Sunday, August 21st and will need to be submitted by Sunday, September 11th.

Thank you for your willingness to be part of this congregational assessment and for helping to build the future of FUMC. If you have any questions, please contact Amy McGraw, Sarah Rothman, Alan Bowers, Nancy Steckelberg, or Pastor Paul.

School Kits
The Mission Committee is in need of donations of either school supplies or money to purchase those supplies for school kits for the Ingathering in November.  These donations need to be made by October 1.  There will be papers located on the table in the back of church where you can sign for donations and what you are willing to purchase.  Anything is greatly appreciated.

Each school kit includes:
3 notebooks – 1 subject spiral 8x10 ½;
1 pair of student round tip scissors;
1 ruler 12” long with metric;
1 box of 24 crayons;
1 pencil eraser 2” or longer;
1 pencil sharpener; 1 box of 12 colored pencils;
6 unsharpened pencils – no advertisements.

Our goal is for 100 school kits. Thank you very much in  advance for your generosity.
