Spirit of Sisterhood Brunch To Honor New Day Co-Founder

Gina Kell Spehn, our New Day Co-founder and president, was chosen by Ellyn Davidson to be an honoree at next month's brunch fundraiser. The Spirit of Sisterhood Brunch in memory of Turresa V. Lambert honors 25 women who have had a significant impact on another's life.

"It is an incredible honor to be recognized by my dear friend Ellyn Davidson, who’s perseverance, character, and strength have been a source of encouragement and a beacon of hope for many," said Gina. "I’m grateful and humbled to receive this special recognition."

The brunch will also raise funds to support Warrior Women Against Poverty, an organization that helps transform the lives of women and their children by helping them to stabilize their families through intentional decision making.

New Day Golf Classic Raises Funds To Help More Families Facing A Cancer Diagnosis

Our annual Golf Classic was held last Monday, August 18, at the Wyndgate Country Club. Thank you to everyone who came out to support New Day on the course, at the dinner and through your sponsorships.

We had a record number of golfers and raised more than $60,000 for families facing cancer! These funds will help to ensure that we can provide financial and emotional support to an ever-increasing number of families throughout Michigan who turn to us for help each day.

The Color of Wellness 5K is SATURDAY!

The 5K is this Saturday, July 30 and the weather looks great!. Race begins at 8am SHARP at Rochester Municipal Park . Packet pick up is Friday, July 29th from 4 to 7pm at Woodhouse Day Spa Rochester Hills, located at 364 N Adams Rd.

There will be limited race day packet pick up and race day registration at the park from 6:30 to 7:30am at the Lions Shelter (near the tennis courts.) Restrooms are also available at the shelter. The start and finish of the race will also be near the Lions Shelter. CLICK HERE for a map of the course.
