Fresh. Local. TOGETHER.

Finding Re-Leaf!
7.28.22
Thursday from 10AM - 2PM

Dear Market Friends and Fans,

Happily the extreme temperatures of the past week have moved out of the area, leaving us with more typical summertime weather. It’s still warm enough to let us enjoy an icy BlendPop or refreshing smoothie from the Blendlife trailer but not too hot to keep us away from fresh-grilled pierogies from Wedzonka, pasties from Stehly’s, or a bursting-with-local-goodness panini from The Flour Shop. Many of our vendors also offer cold drinks to help ease the heat and keep you hydrated when you visit the market.

“Lettuce” celebrate the return of Bowery Farming after a few weeks’ absence! You can once again enjoy those crisp, fresh leaves in your favorite salads. And lots of leaves for your decor may be found at The Wicked Botanist’s stand and at the Excelsior Flowers stand. Pick up a plant for your windowsills inside and out, or a bouquet to brighten the day of a special someone.

If you’re visiting the market with a canine companion, be sure to visit Bizzle’s Bites to pick out treats for your fur-family member. Did you know that Jay offers pup pedicures? Stop by if Rover’s nails are in need of a trim!

If you have ideas to share or comments or questions about the Bethlehem Farmers' Market, feel free to drop us a line.

LIVE MUSIC
ISLE 4

Attention Market Shoppers! Who better to provide a soundtrack for our midday market than the musicians of Isle 4? Comprised of (from left) bass player Jim Arcieri, mandolin player Barry Friedman, banjoist Vivian Fusco Rimerez, occasional guests like Bill (shown here), and guitarist Dan Sullivan (at far right), this intrepid group routinely and randomly plays music together in a grocery store (hence the ambiguous band name) at "Odd Sundays with Dan & Friends" open mic at the Weis Pub & Eatery in Macungie. Discovering they hold an affinity for similar musical styles, and sometimes for each other, they began practicing together out of the way of shopper foot traffic.

Enjoy their farm-fresh and shelf-stable tunes from 11:15am to 1:15pm along with lunch or a stroll around the square.
