In 1995 - Evangelist Angel Martinez, 73, dies Aug. 17 in Ark. hospital

One of Southern Baptists' most renowned evangelists, Angel Martinez, died early Aug. 17 in a Ft. Smith, Ark., hospital following a bout with a respiratory infection. He was 73.
