Boonton UMC: A fun, musical, relevant, relational, and compassionate church
where people find hope, healing, and wholeness.
There are not just angels in the outfield, but angels in Zechariah, the next minor prophet on our baseball team. And what do these messengers and companions for the journey have to teach us? You'll have to join us this Sunday to find out!

And whether in-person or on YouTube, we hope you can join us at 11:15am Sunday at Boonton UMC as we continue our summer sermon series!

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8537182720?pwd=bmdLSEhCOGVOdzNSU0J2azcvM1QvZz09

In "Love Story," Nichole Nordeman takes us inside some of the pivotal moments of the people of Scripture, revealing a very human side that we have rarely glimpsed. She offers startlingly frank glimpses of her own struggles and faith journey, inspiring us to take the hand of the One who walks with us, who has always walked with us, from beginning to end.

A New Hotline Number to Be Mindful of and to Share with Others
As of July 16, 2022, the U.S. has transitioned to using the 988-dialing code, and it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to strengthen and expand the existing Lifeline. 988 is more than just an easy-to-remember number—it’s a direct connection to compassionate, accessible care and support for anyone experiencing mental health-related distress – whether that is thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance use crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress. In 2020, Congress designated the new 988 dialing code to operate through the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s (1-800-273-8255) network of over 200 locally operated and funded crisis centers across the country. People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support. The 988 dialing code is just a first step toward strengthening and transforming crisis care in this country. It serves as a universal entry point so that no matter where you live, you can reach a trained crisis counselor who can help. Over time, the vision for 988 is to have additional crisis services available in communities across the nation, much the way emergency medical services work. Click Here to Read More.
