Small Farm School
Small Farm School is a full-day event for beginning farmers and experienced small acreage farmers and land stewards in the Willamette Valley hosted at the Clackamas Community College. Registration is $100 and open through September 8 or until 150 have registered.

Tree School Field Day - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Saturday October 8, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us for an outdoor Tree School Field Day at Hopkins Demonstration Forest! Registration is $25 per person with lunch included. Learn more and signup up today!
The day will include a series of workshops and demonstrations for students to attend, likely topics include: masticator and fuels reduction, log merchandising and scaling, uneven-aged management, fire and defensible space, density management, introduction to birds, tree thinning and pruning, bigleaf maple tapping, chainsaw use and maintenance, ponds for wildlife, and logging with a tractor and winch. Please note this lineup may change prior to Tree School Field Day.

Oregon Forest Pest Detector Training
This free online course is available 24/7!
The Oregon Forest Pest Detector training is now available for free and offers information on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of invasive forest pests, including the emerald ash borer which was recently detected in Forest Grove, Oregon. A fee option is available for those who wish to earn Continuing Education Credits from one of OSU Extension's partner organizations.
