It's almost our favorite time of year again - National Postdoc Appreciation Week! The annual celebration of postdoctoral fellows runs from Friday, September 16 through Friday, September 23. This year we have a full week of professional development and leisure activities planned - from speed networking to massage sessions! Combatting Imposter Syndrome Workshop

Imposter syndrome is a term that is used often these days, but what does it really mean? In this workshop, you will learn what imposter syndrome means, if you have it, and what are some things that contribute to it. You will also better understand what the five main competence types of imposter syndrome are and how you can combat it for yourself. Lunch will be provided.

Three Minute Thesis Competition Information Session

Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a competition that challenges postdocs to communicate the significance of their research projects to a general audience in just 3 minutes. At this introductory session, Mallory Lopez, Principal Linguist at Language ConnectED, will go over the competition details and give some presentation tips! This session will be recorded.
