 Meet the Japanese team at Buddings Broadway building a rainbow bridge across the ocean and from North to South of the island nation of Japan!
Daycare manager Ayumi Kato is a BC licensed ECE, and a preschool teacher with 15 years of practice, and Saya Yasuragi has been teaching preschool in Japan since 2012. On Tuesdays at Buddings Broadway, they combine forces for a cultural exploration of the traditions, language, and of course, FOODS of Japan.
This will be teacher Saya's last season with us (she will be heading back to Japan in October 😭), so we're tagging along as she prepares to return to her home on the Southern island of Okinawa. What is she most looking forward to?
Through multi-sensory activities, thought-provoking questions, and a developmental structure, expert teachers present opportunities for kids to ask questions, and learn from - and about! - each other.

On Oct. 22, join our clothing swap!
 The seasons sure seem to speed by, so when September is right around the corner, October is too, and on Oct. 22, we're planning a Fall Kids Toy and Clothing Swap.
Donation weeks will be from Sept. 26 - Oct. 7 (we're taking the summer off), and we're excited to show you how our hybrid in-person-online-shopping and swapping system lets us share thousands of good quality kids' items to hundreds of families. Check out the online collections now, at 2loops.ca.

Air conditioned afternoons!
 August is ending, but for daycare kids the summer rolls on. These hot hot days don't quit, so our afternoon programs take full advantage of our air conditioning, to make sure everyone can be cool.
We're still fieldtripping, but when the temperatures soar, we're heading indoors. There are lots of fun places to explore, by bus, boat, and train. Even the airport!
