Farm News

We will be open Friday, 3- 6pm.  The online store is up and running as well.  You can pre-order online by Thursday night  and we will have a packed box with your order ready for pickup on Friday afternoon.

For sales at the table, we prefer credit card but will have the cash register available for cash or checks.  We are not requiring masks but please ask that customers be considerate, allow 6 feet of space between, and continue to not touch produce on the tables.  Please park on the grass on either side of the driveway.  If you need assistance or require handicap parking, please drive to the top of hill and park next to the barn.

We finally got the new potato digger out this week!  There was a small technical detail to get it connected correctly to our tractor but we have success.  The crew looks pretty amazed in the first picture watching the potatoes come out the back of the digger ready for easy picking.  We started with the yellow potatoes and it seemed to work fine.  It did create too much damage on the Huckleberry Golds due to their thinner skin but we figured out a work around.  Both potatoes will be available this week at the farm stand and should be available for the remainder of the season.  This new tool will greatly reduce labor on the harvest.

We still have a backstock on beets.  If you like to can or just have more on-hand our bulk deal is the way to go.  A 10# bag is $15.00.  We also are starting to have enough tomatoes to offer 10# boxes of slicers at $22.00/ box.  There are just a couple of those that you can order through the online store.  And, garlic is back this week.  Crops are coming out rapidly now.  Let your friends know the store is stocked and a great place to shop for your fresh veggies.

See you at the farm...
