As the nights begin to draw-in, and the summer concert series on the library lawn comes to an end, we're going to use our giant inflatable screen to show a series of locally inspired movies on Friday nights (rain date Saturdays).  See poster for dates and times.
  • We all know In & Out was filmed at the High School (25 years ago!), some of you were even in it.  Now's your chance to re-live it on a big screen.
  • Paterson's own Lou Costello teams up with Bud Abbott in their hilarious 1945 classic The Naughty Nineties, featuring the classic sketch 'Who's on First'.
  • Our favorite local author, Albert Payson Terhune had his most famous book Lad, A Dog adapted into a movie in 1962.  Bring your pets to watch it.
  • Finally, Simpler Times is a comical 'short' filmed in town, featuring Ben Stiller and directed by local actor Steve Monarque.  We'll feature this back-to-back with the short film Our Home Town, describing Pompton Lakes in the 1950s.
Shows start at 7.30pm, so bring a chair and why not order a pizza or your favourite take-out while you watch.  We'll have menus from selected local restaurants who will deliver to your seat.

This program is made possible with funds from the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
