New products
I don't know about you, but I just love new products. Whether it is a new smartphone or gadget, a new book or CD, or something new for the pantry. Then I just want to share it with friends and family, make new dishes to understand it, and enjoy the pleasure of being able to taste and smell and be alive.
Tomato Paste
One could ask, why tomato paste? It is such a general product, why do you want to buy it from The Deli and not in the sachets at your local supermarket?
Our friends at "House of Syria" have this 660g bottle of Tomato Paste, ideal for the chef in the kitchen. Why open a small sachet or tin every time you need Tomato Paste for a stew or sauce? Just open and store it in the fridge till later, re-use the glass jar once empty. It is super tasty!

Piccalilly in a jar
Piccalilli, or mustard pickle, is a British interpretation of South Asian pickles, a relish of chopped and pickled vegetables and spices.
Kuhne Piccalilly is a well-known product from Holland. Enjoy it with meat or as a side dish. Ideal for adding some sweet & sour to your plate.

Cookie time with Lotus Biscoff
If a recipe works, why change it? Our Lotus Speculoos is a huge favourite amongst our shoppers. In the last week, we might have sold more than 20 jars, with some people buying even 8 jars!
Well, how about enjoying the same Speculoos flavours in a cookie? Koffieleutjes is the ideal cookie to enjoy your Speculoos as a cookie, with coffee or tea. Lotus Biscoff has been around since 1932, I believe you can trust them when it comes to cookies.

A replacement for our Black Rice
Unfortunately, we are not able to get the Black Lotus Rice anymore. However, we are still looking for a replacement and found another Wholegrain Black Rice in the meantime. Slightly a bit more expensive, but this Italian black rice is worth every penny.
Now you can dish up flavoursome Indian curries and kormas, chic poke bowls, hearty Provencal cassoulets, spicy Mexican dishes, and much much more. Since we started using black rice, this starch on the plate added a whole twist to our meals.
