This Sunday we focus on Hebrews 12:1-13. We are reminded that God uses hardships in our lives to train us in our faith. No matter what problems we face, we still have a God who loves us and saves us through Jesus.

Worship services are Thursday at 7:00pm and
Sunday at 8:00am & 9:30am
*The Sunday 8am service will be livestreamed here

Because of our Outdoor Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. and the Church Picnic on the 28th, our Communion Sundays will be on August 14th and 21st this month.

Ministry Minute
The Watertown community is rich with opportunities to serve and St. Luke's is rich with people willing to serve. Did you know that just this week St. Luke's served the community through the Meals on Wheels program, Sandwiches in the Park, helping with the TSL mother's tent at Riverfest, helping to sort at the Blue Butterfly thrift store, answering phone calls at the Alpha Resource Center and spending time with the teens at the ROC? (I'm sorry if I'm missing other opportunities that were met this week). Praise God for allowing His people to see a way in which someone in our community might need encouragement and for using their gifts to help.
Another way you can help our community this week is by serving and/or donating the listed food items for the  Bread and Roses  meal coming up this Thursday, August 18th. Here is the link to the sign-up sheet for items to donate and times to volunteer to serve. Click here. You can also sign up by contacting Amanda Oestreicher at 920-253-5756 or amandabowdin@gmail.com.
Outdoor Worship & Picnic
We will be having a special Outdoor Worship Service followed by a Picnic Lunch. The service will begin at 9:30 am at the South shelter in Clark Park. This worship service will also have the installation of our three new called workers Sadie Gawel, Shawna Jaeger, and Christin Leckwee. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to worship if you think they might enjoy the more casual outdoor setting.
  • Please bring a lawn chair and set up near the shelter for worship. We will also have seating in the shelter for those who would prefer, and we will reserve a few handicap parking spots near the shelter.
  • The picnic lunch will follow the service and will begin at approximately 11:30. The meal will be at the north shelter in Clark Park. You can move your lawn chairs over to that shelter after worship.
  • Meat will be provided for the picnic and we are asking that other items be provided pot-luck. You can click on the link to sign up your family and indicate what you plan to bring for the pot-luck.
  • Stay for games after lunch: bingo for the adults, relay races for the kids, cornhole for everyone, and more fun children’s games.
  • We will still have our 8am worship service inside that day if you can't make the outdoor worship and picnic.
If you plan to attend please click this link to sign up.
Calling all teens! Mrs. Amy Lugo and Mrs. Kirsten Young are the "games committee" for the upcoming church picnic explained in detail above. They have great kids' games and prizes planned but need about 10-12 teens to facilitate. Please contact Kirsten at kirstenlyoung@gmail.com or 608-843-7291 to sing up to help!
