Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo.

Hello.

This is just a very quick and probably irrelevant message to let you know that David Quirk, A VERY GOOD comedian from Melbourne is performing at the Soho Theatre on Friday and Saturday of this week. So the 12th and 13th.

I know this will be useless and potentially irritating information to a lot of you but he’s made the almost heroic, tactical blooper of flying around the world in order to perform comedy in London whilst, lets be honest, most* people who live in London and like comedy are busy liking comedy, 400 miles away, in Edinburgh. Which means that no-one seems to know that he’s here or that he’s performing or that he has done some of my favourite bits of stand up over the last 10 years or so.

Anyway, I think he’s fascinating and funny and absolutely worth seeing if you get a chance and you can get tickets here - TICKETS

In terms of Edinburgh. I don’t really have any hot tips. I’m not entirely sure who’s doing what to be honest, I’ve not seen any previews or anything and im not up there myself, guzzling down shows like a hungry little chuckle pig. - So can’t point you to anything beyond people you probably already know are worth seeing either because they are famous and well regarded or from me banging on at you about them in the past – John Kearns. Rob Auton, Pat Cahill, (Also Kearns and Cahill), Microscope Live, Ivo Graham. Patti Harrison. Tim Key, Mat Ewins, Lou Sanders, Trevor Lock, Ray Badran, Jessica Fostekew, Sheeps. Sam Campbell, Joz Norris, Sean Mcgloughlin, Chris Gethard, Laura Davis, John Luke Roberts. The guy from the Mash Report. Blah Blah Blah.

But to be honest, I’m not really aware of the sweet buzz or the mad word of mouth or the underground sleeper hits because im in London posting between 80 and 100 records every day and sometimes having a little ice cream.

Okay.

That’ll do pig.

Daniel.

*- No, not all, you’re quite right.
