300 South 🚦is getting a makeover 💄and you can help! Attend UDOT’s public open house on August 17th from 5-7pm to voice your support for safe walking🚶♀️and biking 🚴🏽♂️ updates along this important community corridor. The public house will be held at Franklin Elementary School, 350 South 600 West.
Improvements will occur on US-89 (300 South) between University Avenue and 500 West. The project's goals are to improve the roadway and underground infrastructure while providing better transportation options for all kinds of road users.
New pedestrian/bicycle crosswalks, bike lanes, and bump-outs are three of the improvements being evaluated that BikeWalk Provo is particularly excited about.
Note that sidewalk replacement and widening is not currently included in this project due to project funding limitations. Provo City and the project team are working together to identify whether there are other opportunities for this work to occur in the future.
