Doors Open London and RCRM Speakers Series Season 03 📣
The 21st annual Doors Open London (DOL) weekend will take place on
September 17 and 18, 2022.
The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum will be open exceptionally Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. Special outdoors guided tours and a theatre performance are scheduled, see below for details and registration.

Outdoors Tour
On Saturday, 17 Sept at 3pm, and Sunday, 18 Sept at 3pm and 4pm, you can explore the exterior of the building and find out how London, ON, was chosen as its location.
This is the audio-described option for Wolseley Barracks Outdoors Tour. It is designed for people who are blind or partially sighted, but everyone is welcome. These tours are available on Saturday 17 Sept at 1pm and Sunday 18 Sept at 1pm.
"The Great Anticipation of 1939" is a 30-min play by local author Carolyn Hall. This performance features a group of Londoners and army officers preparing for the 1939 visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
In the early 1990s, Somalia was the theatre of violent clashes between various factions, wide spread starvation, and a refugee crisis. Under UN mandate, an international force was deployed to ensure delivery of humanitarian aid and restore order. BGen (retired) Dr. Jim Cox and Col (retired) Dr. Colin McGee were there and will share their experience.
