Hello, everyone! Welcome to a new semester at Emory. We have a great year of events planned and can’t wait to build community with you! Chat with me about queer film and television, coffee of all kinds, and my gentle parenting aspirations.

Welcome to Emory! I’m thrilled to connect with you all, and look forward to all this year has to offer! I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and I enjoy sports, poetry, and DIY projects!

Hiya! I can't wait to meet new friends and reconnect with old pals in the coming weeks! The team has been preparing for your arrival all summer and I am so glad y'all are finally here. Find me at the office to chat about NYC living, Atlanta's art and QTBIPOC community, and good food!

The Office of LGBT Life is seeking Leaders for our Queer Community Groups! Queer Community Groups (QCGs) are weekly, hour-long, student-led groups focused on centering identities in the queer and trans communities.

First Year Welcome


Emory Pride is Emory's undergraduate LGBTQ+ student organization. Stop by the First-Year Quad on Monday at 2PM to connect with Emory's fun and friendly queer community!

The 2022 SheATL Theater Festival will run August 18-28 at the Schwartz Performing Arts Center on the Emory University Atlanta Campus. It will present 4 full-length plays by gender-marginalized artists.

Body Becoming: A Path to Our Liberation


Charis and The Agnes Scott College Department of Bible and Religion welcome Dr. Robyn Henderson-Espinoza in conversation with Rev. Connie Tuttle for a discussion of Body Becoming: A Path to Our Liberation. Combining that deep listening and living with their work in activism, Body Becoming offers us a way of understanding the body beyond constructions--political or medical-industrial-complex defined--toward cultivating the body as important in our endeavors to build a more inclusive vision for democracy.

Atlanta City Council's

Equality and Unity Welcome Reception


Councilmember Keisha Waites is hosting a Pride Equality & Unity Welcome Reception for the City of Atlanta and they are in need of volunteers! The purpose of the Equality & Unity Pride Reception is to celebrate diversity, promote equality, and unity, and recognize the work and contributions of our LGBTQ pioneers, trailblazers, and community leaders. The evening will kick off Pride weekend in Atlanta.

Atlanta Black Pride Weekend
On Sunday, September 4th run on over to Piedmont Park to celebrate and be in community with Queer Black love. Come for the love, stay for the music and incredible food! 🔥💫💖
