Kind Story
During the summer holidays, the 52 Lives charity was trying to buy school shoes for 350 children who didn't have any shoes. Some families struggle with the cost of buying shoes, and so 52 Lives wanted to help. They set up wishlists so their supporters could buy shoes and also asked people to donate money for shoes or to donate second-hand school shoes.
In just two weeks, guess how many pairs of shoes were donated?
600! That means 600 children will be walking into school in comfy, properly fitting shoes.
